I work with people aged 40+ to help them move better, feel better and have better mental and physical fitness. I work with people who are in it for the long game and are ready to put the time and effort to get back the control over their body and life. They are people who invest in their well-being and are committed to their own improvement.
What separates our approach from other Tai Chi schools is that we take into account our clients’ lifestyles and how external forces are affecting their lives. We combine the ancient art of Tai Chi and teach it from a modern scientific Physiotherapy perspective. Doing Tai Chi really well 1hr a week is all well and good but for long lasting results we help our clients find ways to incorporate good movement and practice in their everyday lives.
More importantly, whilst we take our work really seriously, we don’t take ourselves too seriously so our clients are guaranteed a challenging but fun class!
I teach Traditional Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan as taught by the Yang Family itself and Grandmaster Yang Jun, 5th generation lineage holder.
I work closely with the Yang Cheng Fu Centre in Cambridge – the only certified school in the UK to teach Traditional Yang Family Tai Chi.
For those of you interested in achievements – I am a UK national and international gold medallist from several competitions.
My aim is to combine my skills, knowledge and expertise as a therapist and Tai Chi instructor to provide my students with unique approach to teaching.
